How to Make a Valentine’s “Nojito” Mocktail

We’ll be the first to admit it, this probably should’ve gone out on Valentine’s Day. But honestly, who says a fresh, bright, slightly indulgent mocktail should be limited to just one day a year? Whether it’s a random Tuesday, a weekend get-together, or just a moment where you want something a little elevated without the alcohol, this Strawberry “Nojito” hits every time. It’s refreshing, lightly sweet, and just complex enough to feel like you actually made something special, because you did.

Here’s how to make it:

How to Make a Valentine’s “Nojito” Mocktail

  • Add 4–5 sliced fresh strawberries, 6–8 fresh mint leaves, and ½ lime (cut into wedges) into a glass
  • Gently muddle to release juices and oils (press and twist lightly—don’t shred the mint)
  • Add 1–2 drops of natural rum flavor (start light—it’s concentrated)
  • Fill the glass with ice
  • Top with ½–¾ cup sparkling water
  • Stir gently to combine
  • Garnish with a strawberry slice, mint sprig, or lime wheel

Optional:

  • Add a touch of honey or simple syrup if you prefer a sweeter finish

Simple, fresh, and way too good to save for just one holiday 🍓🍋
