This “golden” quality of jojoba oil is derived solely from the cold-pressed process of the seeds. Different than many other carrier oils, golden jojoba is comprised almost entirely of liquid wax esters, which are essentially esters of the fatty acids we see in oils such as argan, coconut, and other oils. This oil has become a go-to carrier oil selection for its excellent moisturizing properties during application.
