GENERAL INFORMATION:
This specific quality of Peppermint is grown, harvested and produced in western United States. This oil is rich in Menthol and Menthone, as it has been redistilled to concentrate Peppermint oils crisp, herbal, cooling notes! Peppermint is believed to originate from northern Africa and the Mediterranean, and actually a hybrid of Spearmint and Watermint. When distilled, peppermint is seen to have a very fragrant odor compared to other mint species. Historically, mint has been used in oral care in Europe for thousands of years, as the monks had first used peppermint for “tooth polish”.
